Hi, I’m Jessie — the heart behind Lucia Birth Co.

 

Lucia means light, and that is exactly how I approach birth work. I believe birth is more than a physical event — it is a sacred beginning. A mother becomes their most vulnerable and emerges stronger, softened, expanded.

I’m a mama to three wild, active boys and married to a husband who loves to coach. Our home is loud, active, and full of life! I’m also a deep-feeler, a wellness-seeker, a lover of good chai and good music. I believe in slow mornings, meaningful conversations, and creating spaces that feel safe and grounding.

As a birth doula, I support women with compassion and intention, honoring each unique story and trusting deeply in the body’s natural design. My faith guides my belief that our bodies are truly capable and strong; we are inherently designed. I believe women deserve to feel informed, supported, and gently empowered — not rushed, dismissed, or overshadowed.​
